Characteristics of history makers:

  1. Choice
  2. Recognize the value in history - learn from it
  3. Do not be satisfied with the status quo
  4. Just do it

Characteristics of history majors:

  1. Complaining
  2. Resistant to change
  3. Citing tradition - "this is the way we've always done it"
  4. Making excuses
  5. Believing the best days have passed the organization by
  6. Routine
  7. Not dissatisfied enough
